No follow-up is needed, but in certain cases, it may be suggested. During your visit, our specialists educate and train families to reduce the likelihood of re-infestation and give proven, accurate information on how to treat the home. Our ultimate goal is to keep you and your family lice-free and have the knowledge to prevent it in the future.

Head Checks

Let the professionals check! Don’t wait for a new case to turn into an infestation. Let us catch it early for you! We are the ONLY lice clinic in NWI that offers complete, wet comb-out head checks if no evidence is first found visually!

Head checks are $30 per person. The cost of the head check is waived if proceeded with a full or modified (partial) treatment. Head checks for household family members are only $15 per person if anyone in the household receives a full or modified (partial) treatment during the appointment only. All head check appointments scheduled without a full or modified (partial) treatment will be charged the regular head check fee. This includes scheduling later in the day.

Full Treatments

Complete LICE and NIT removal, full education on cleaning measures, prevention and a 30-day GUARANTEE (as long as everyone in the household, this includes secondary households if applicable, has been checked, cleared and/or receives a full treatment at our clinic. Our failure rate is less than 0.01% & have successfully treated thousands of clients over the years (YES WE’RE THAT GOOD!) 

An average treatment takes about 1-1.5 hours. If hair is thick/curly there may be an additional fee. More time may be needed depending on length, thickness & case. Certain hair textures, matted hair, “bleeding” hair dye, very severe infestations, and uncooperative persons are more difficult to treat and may require additional fees. We only charge additionally if necessary.

Express/Partial Treatment

This treatment is about 20-30 minutes of a professional lice removal comb-out which removes about 85-95% of all lice and nits in the hair and recommendations on how to complete the lice removal process at home. Please note, this treatment is not guaranteed, but is a great way to save time and money when taking care of head lice yourself. Price includes lice comb. Products will need to be purchased separately.

School Checks

Head lice in a classroom can be stressful for teachers and parents alike. Help stop the spread by accurately identifying who has lice and who doesn’t.  We come right to the school and check the classroom or the whole school or childcare center. We bring all of the supplies with us and check as quickly and efficiently as possible so you can get back to your day. Do not let head lice get in your way of educating our youth. Camp Checks

We want to be your camp’s head lice head check team!

We also accept all major credit cards*, FSA/HSA cards*, checks* and cash.

*All personal checks require a copy of a valid ID/DL. We reserve the right to refuse a personal check for payment for any reason. 
*All credit cards have a processing fee of 3.5%.

 

We accept most Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts cards. If we cannot accept your FSA/HSA card, we will provide a receipt with Insurance Codes for you to submit to your insurance provider. We do not submit insurance claims. 

*A 3.5% processing fee will apply. 

We cannot guarantee or bill your health insurance company, but we can provide an itemized invoice with all current ICD-10 and Diagnosis Codes for you to submit to your health insurance company. If your claim is denied, you can request a letter of medical necessity from our office.
